I like this camera, everything works as stated. My only problem is keeping it connected to WiFi. It’s probably just my WiFi so I’ll keep making adjustments.

We have been using our camera for a couple of months now. I love that we can set the timer for it to turn on and off automatically. It was easy (with clear instructions) to connect to Wi-Fi and my phone. We charged it up initially, but it has been running off the solar panel ever since. My husband was able to install the camera and solar panel in under 20 minutes. The fact that it is completely wireless (works on Wi-Fi and solar) is especially convenient because it enabled us to place it across our yard, aiming towards our house. We can watch our house, shed, and items we have stored in the backyard, all with one camera, and the front and one side of our house with another.
I am amazed at the quality of the picture, regardless of the weather or the time of day, and I love that we can zoom in and out and adjust the camera angle from the app on the phone. It has an audible alarm that you can turn on or off, as well as a spotlight that you have the option of using or not. The view is just as good at night as it is during the day.
The motion detection works well – almost too well. I had to turn the sensitivity down because a nocturnal spider kept triggering the alarm at night, and I didn’t want to irritate the neighbors. When we walk into the camera’s view now, it waits for a couple of seconds before it triggers a notification.
You can use the camera for free, or you can sign up for longer storage (on the cloud) with a subscription plan. The plans are very affordable if you choose to get one. At the time of this review, a 1-year subscription (for 30-day storage) is just over $20. Just to be clear, the subscription is for longer-term storage on the cloud. Regardless of whether or not you get the subscription, you can still record (automatically or on demand), and the video recordings will be saved on the sim card or on your phone. To view the older videos on the app, you just need to select the sim instead of the cloud. Play with the settings and read the instructions, and I have faith that you can figure it out.
We are very happy with this camera. It is definitely a great investment for safety and peace of mind!
