As a heavy phone user, I can confidently say the Pixel 6 has blown me away. It tackles any task I throw at it, from editing photos to streaming movies, with smooth performance and zero lag. The camera is simply phenomenal, capturing stunning details in any lighting condition. Plus, with guaranteed Android updates for years to come, I know my phone will stay fresh and secure.
The only downside? I bought it for the 5G potential, but unfortunately, Google hasn’t activated it yet in my region (Chile). While the LTE is still perfectly functional, it’s a bit of a bummer not to experience the full potential.
Despite this minor setback, I wholeheartedly recommend the Pixel 6. It’s a powerful, reliable companion that elevates the smartphone experience, especially for demanding users like myself.
So…. I fully recomend this phone.

I have a Pixel 6a phone, and I’ve been in love with it, especially after a lot of the updates this year. My wife was looking for an upgraded phone herself so I had been perusing around the Pixel options. She wanted something a little bit larger than my phone, so I had been looking at the Pixel 6. If you love the 6a, the 6 should treat you pretty well also, it’s a very similar phone, just a bit larger, and does actually have some improvements in smoothness during use, as well as a really nice upgraded camera. All in all, we’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now and it’s great. Fast processing, I love a lot of the general Pixel features that you don’t see on normal phones, e-sim capabilities, and transferring the old phone info and settings was like 80% effective just on plugging the old one into the new and hitting transfer. The photos are fantastic and the whole system is just fast. There are additional benefits like adaptive charging to keep your battery life stable, and a lot of the editing/filtering capabilities through Google Photos that you don’t get with other phones. This is also her first upgrade to a non-budget smartphone and we both feel this is a fantastic choice and high performance phone, especially for the price. Highly recommended!

Never had pixels before, and even though there are new pixel sevens out there, I decided to buy prev gen pixel6 and wasn’t disappointed.
Smooth android experience, no crap apps preinstalled, good enough camera (although way better than on my prev 1+15T) — everything android phone should be in the first place.

This is my primary phone, i love that it get updates until 2026 and has 6GB of ram. It gets frequent updates with new features. Has an e-sim support so can have two different numbers on it. I highly recommend it for use even in 2024

I really hate this phone. Ironically this has been the worst android experience I’ve had. Every month when Google submits its monthly update, some new bug or issue is introduced. Seems like Google isn’t really trying anymore. For example, last month, my bluetooth stopped working with my car’s head unit. Had to wait a month to get that fixed with the new update. Then, the after installing the latest update, the recorder app decided to stop transcribing any audio. Things break, then get fixed down the road while other stuff breaks. It’s a caos! The fingerprint sensor after 1 year using it, works around 50% of the time. There is an issue with the screen pocket screen sensor, which keeps my display off after removing it from my pocket. When casting YouTube from the phone and the screen turns off, my phone gets disconnected from the Chromecast, loosing whatever I was watching. This requires me to restart, for it to work properly. It has so many issues with connecting to any wi-fi or hotspot, I now basically just use celular network, so I don’t waste any more time troubleshooting it. After this, I am finally considering buying an iPhone, which Google has cornered me into doing. I will never buy a google product ever again, stay away from Pixel Phones!

I replaced my Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus with this phone, since I heard praises for the stock Android experience. I have to say I am bit annoyed with this phone’s software and hardware bugs. First the OS is plagued of bugs. I’ve had constant WIFI disconnects, some features stopped working after an update like my google pay. It seems, like they fix something and something else breaks, which it’s kind of odd, since the software and hardware is made by the same company! I don’t use the camera that much, so this is not a huge issue for me, but the auto focusing is horrendous. When I occasionally use the camera, most of y pictures are out focus, especially when taking pictures from close objects.
The fingerprint… ohh don’t get me started! This is what I hate the most about the phone, the barely functioning fingerprint reader. I find myself 9 out of 10 inputting my password. I’ve tried registering my same thumb 7 times, adjusting the touch sensitivity and nothing seems to work. I have to admit I miss the Samsung sensor. The charging is way slow. I find myself waiting for the phone battery to reach 100% from 20% around 2 hours (consider I also bought the OEM charger, which should come included with the phone).
I am currently waiting on the March update to see what will be fix and what new issues will come out, but for some reason, the update is being releases for previous models first than their current flagship. In conclusion, I would not recommend this phone. I would go for something else, even though it might be more expensive, like a new Samsung flagship.

The Internet is flooded with how bad this phone is, overheating issues, stuttering issues, pink tint on the screen, connectivity issues, battery issues and what not. I came across numerous videos, posts and articles about how Google pixel 6 is an okayish device and buy only at your risk and if you are a die hard Google fan.
I am a fan of Google but not die hard. Still believes iPhones are at their peak of their hardware software optimisation and battery backup along with their excellent camera, but that’s why the higher price. Justified.
The pixel 6, didn’t get launched in my country officially but can be purchased online with no further support once you buy it. Pixel 7 was costly for me and pixel 6a 60hz is something I am not okay with (others might be okay with it, I wasn’t so please no offense) and both were launched officially in my country, not pixel 6 and 6 pro
Day 1
I took a leap of faith and bought pixel 6. Got it on 16th October (5 days back) and initial impressions were good. Updated the system and patches, restored my account and all but the first day was horrible. Poor connectivity, it was getting very warm, very quick. Scrolling in the application drawer was not smooth either. Day 1 SOT was 3 hours. I felt people were right, Google made a mistake and that’s why pixel 7 is getting all the praise (it must be a great phone though).
Day 2
I decided to return it within the windows of the 7 days i have but things started to get better on the 2nd day. The most noticeable difference was the reduced temperature when I held the phone. Everything else was the same more or less. The connectivity issue was still there. The apps were not loading on WiFi but working fine on mobile data. Sometimes the mobile data became useless and i had to go to the WiFi area.
Day 3
First time I noticed the battery is getting better too. I cancelled my return request and decided to wait till the last day of my return window. The battery SOT was 5 hours at this point. The phone started to feel a bit smoother. Connectivity got better too. I was able to switch from WiFi to mobile data more seamlessly. I don’t know how it happened.
Day 4
Battery SOT reached 6 hours, minimal heating and phone felt very stable. I figured out the things are falling into their places.
Day 5
Today is the 5th day and i am typing this post on my Pixel 6. Battery SOT is 7.5-8 hours. The phone is buttery smooth now. Idle battery drain is still on the higher side 17%. No heating or overheating now. Connectivity is absolutely fine now and i live in an area where mobile data signals have moderate strength, not excellent (checked with iPhone, samsung and OnePlus – mobile signal strength is moderate) but i am able to recieve any call, anytime. I send text and get the delivery reports in 2-3 seconds after sending the text. The apps which were not working fine on WiFi on day 2 are working fine at all. And I must say, it’s a very good phone, If not a great one. Not going to return it, and will keep it for the next 4 years at least.
TLDR: Pixel 6 is a great device,it just needs more time to adapt everything. Not a phone you can take out of the box and expect it to perform the way it should. Give it a week before you make any decisions.
Thanks, I don’t see positive posts about pixel 6 very often, hence this honest experience.

It fits my hand well. It’s bright enough in direct sunlight . Its fast. Faster than I am, anyway.
It’ll take a year for me to uses all the features.
I did not have to sell a kidney to buy one.

The Google Pixel 6 is a flagship phone that offers a lot of value for its price. It has a unique and attractive design, a powerful and custom-made processor, and an impressive camera system. It also runs on the latest Android 13 OS, which is fast, smooth, and secure.
The phone has a 6.4-inch OLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 1080 x 2340 resolution. The screen is bright, sharp, and colorful, and it adapts to the ambient light and the content. The screen also has a hole-punch cutout for the 8MP selfie camera, which can take wide-angle shots and supports face unlock.
The phone’s back is made of glass and has a matte finish that resists fingerprints. The most distinctive feature of the phone is the camera bar, which houses the 50MP main camera and the 12MP ultra-wide camera. The camera bar also has a metal accent that contrasts with the color of the phone. The phone comes in three colors: Stormy Black, Sorta Seafoam, and Kinda Coral[^1^][1].
The phone’s performance is powered by the Google Tensor processor, which is the first chip designed by Google for Pixel phones. The processor is optimized for AI and machine learning tasks, such as image processing, language translation, and voice recognition. The processor also works with the Titan M2 security chip, which protects the phone from malware and hackers. The phone has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which are enough for most users.
The phone’s camera is one of the best in the market, thanks to the Google Tensor processor and the software features. The main camera has a large sensor that captures more light and detail, especially in low-light situations. The ultra-wide camera has a 114-degree field of view, which is great for landscapes and group shots. The phone also has a 4x optical zoom and a 7x digital zoom, which are decent but not outstanding.
The phone’s camera has many modes and features that enhance the photos and videos, such as Night Sight, Portrait Mode, Magic Eraser, Motion Mode, and Cinematic Pan. The phone can also record 4K videos at 60fps, and 1080p videos at 240fps. The phone’s camera can also recognize and translate text, identify objects, and suggest actions, thanks to the Google Lens feature.
The phone’s battery is 4614mAh, which can last for a full day of moderate use. The phone supports fast charging, wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging. The phone can charge up to 50% in 30 minutes with the 30W adapter, which is sold separately. The phone can also charge other devices, such as earbuds or smartwatches, by placing them on the back of the phone.
The phone’s software is Android 13, which is the latest and most advanced version of the OS. The software is clean, smooth, and intuitive, and it has many features that make the phone smarter and more helpful. For example, the phone has a Live Translate feature, which can translate speech and text in real time, even without an internet connection. The phone also has a Hold for Me feature, which can wait on hold for you when you call a customer service line. The phone also has a Personal Safety feature, which can detect car crashes, falls, or emergencies, and alert your contacts or emergency services.
The phone’s connectivity is also excellent, as it supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and eSIM. The phone can connect to the fastest and most reliable networks, and it can also share its 5G connection with other devices. The phone also has a dual SIM feature, which allows you to use two different phone numbers or carriers on the same phone.
The phone’s drawbacks are minor, but they are worth mentioning. The phone does not have a microSD card slot, which means you cannot expand the storage. The phone also does not have a headphone jack, which means you have to use wireless earbuds or an adapter. The phone also does not have a fingerprint scanner, which means you have to use face unlock or a PIN code. The phone also does not have a water resistance rating, which means it may not survive a splash or a dunk.
I think the Google Pixel 6 is a fantastic phone that offers a lot of value for its price. It has a unique and attractive design, a powerful and custom-made processor, and an impressive camera system. It also runs on the latest Android 13 OS, which is fast, smooth, and secure. It has some minor drawbacks, but they are not deal-breakers. I would give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars rating.
