Yale Approach Lock with Wi-Fi + Keypad Touch
2.0 from 3 shopper ratings
The Yale Approach Lock with Wi-Fi + Keypad Touch is a retrofit smart lock that installs over the inside thumbturn of an existing single-cylinder deadbolt, letting users keep their original keys and exterior hardware. It pairs with the Yale Keypad Touch accessory, which adds fingerprint recognition and a backlit touchscreen for entering up to 250 custom codes, alongside remote control, auto-unlock via geofencing, and one-touch locking through the Yale Access app. The lock communicates over Wi-Fi (via the included Connect Wi-Fi Bridge) and Bluetooth, and Yale states Matter support is planned via a future software update. It works with Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings, Philips Hue, Airbnb, and Ecobee, runs on 4 AA batteries (about 12 months), with the Keypad Touch using 4 AAA batteries (about 7 months), and includes Auto-Lock via DoorSense technology.
