The Ring Outdoor Cam Plus, Plug-In is a wired security camera designed for indoor or outdoor mounting, powered continuously via a USB-C power adapter rather than a battery. It records 2K (2560 x 1440) video with Ring Vision image processing across a wide 160-degree diagonal, 140-degree horizontal, and 80-degree vertical field of view. The camera uses Ring's Low-Light Sight technology to capture full-color video from dusk to dawn without relying on a spotlight, and it supports Advanced Motion Detection with customizable motion zones plus two-way talk with noise cancellation. It includes a built-in, remote-activated security siren and connects over dual-band 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi. Full video recording and event history require a paid Ring subscription (Ring Home); without one, the camera only offers real-time live view with no video saving. The unit is weather resistant and rated to operate between approximately -20°C and 50°C (-4°F to 122°F).
