The Ring Outdoor Cam Plus, Battery is a wire-free security camera powered by a rechargeable Quick Release Battery Pack, with optional solar panel or plug-in adapter accessories sold separately for continuous power. It records 2K (2560 x 1440) video with the same 160-degree diagonal, 140-degree horizontal, and 80-degree vertical field of view as the plug-in variant, and uses Low-Light Sight technology for full-color night vision from dusk to dawn. The camera connects via dual-band 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi, includes Advanced Motion Detection with customizable motion zones, two-way talk with noise cancellation, and a remote-activated security siren. It is weather resistant, rated to operate roughly between -20°C and 50°C (-4°F to 122°F), suitable for both indoor and outdoor mounting. As with other Ring cameras, full video recording and event history require a paid Ring Home subscription; without one, only real-time live view is available.
