The Ring Indoor Cam Plus is a compact, plug-in indoor security camera designed for tabletop, wall, or ceiling placement, and is not weather-rated for outdoor use. It captures Retinal 2K video (2560x1440) with a 115-degree horizontal by 60-degree vertical field of view and 4x Enhanced Zoom, plus color night vision via Low-Light Sight. It includes a detachable manual lens cover for physical privacy control and adaptive bit-rate streaming that adjusts quality to available bandwidth. Out of the box it supports Live View, Two-Way Talk, and basic motion-activated notifications without a subscription, but AI-powered person and package detection, along with video recording/cloud storage (up to 180 days), require a paid Ring Protect subscription. It is powered via an included 10W USB-A adapter and USB-A-to-USB-C cable rather than battery, and does not include a spotlight or siren.
