The Ring Battery Doorbell (2024) is an entry-level wireless video doorbell that installs in minutes without existing wiring, powered by a built-in rechargeable battery that lasts several months per charge. It captures 1440x1440 HD video through a wide 150° x 150° Head-to-Toe field of view — 66% taller than its predecessor — so visitors, faces, and packages on the ground are all clearly visible. The 2024 model adds Color Night Vision for improved low-light footage and delivers up to 23% longer battery life than the previous generation. Built-in two-way audio with noise cancellation enables clear real-time conversations, and optional hardwiring to an 8–24 VAC system can extend battery life indefinitely. A Ring Protect subscription (from $5/month) is required to unlock cloud video recording, smart alerts for people and packages, and up to 180 days of video history.
